Regenerative design is the foundation of our practice.

Regenerative adjective
Design that helps restore ecosystems and strengthens the communities within them.
The aim is a lasting positive contribution to the life of a place. Energy and water matter, alongside habitat, human health and equity, with outcomes assessed over time.
- For example
- Restore native planting and habitat
- Filter stormwater through rain gardens
- Share surplus renewable energy locally
Regenerative design is an aspiration, not a price bracket.
Many of its moves are design decisions: reusing what is already on site, letting rainwater soak into the garden, planting local species for wildlife. These cost little or nothing extra.
