Notes

Humanist who identified the text of Vitruvius's De architectura at the Abbey of St Gall (most likely 1416, during the Council of Constance), returning it to the Italian humanist mainstream. '1414' is widely but loosely cited. Birth/death years from general humanist record; the dossier documents only the rediscovery.
