Architect and poet; collaborator and co-surveyor with Liang Sicheng in the Society for Research in Chinese Architecture field surveys. Enrolled formally in Fine Arts at Pennsylvania (which did not admit women to architecture until 1934) but took the architecture curriculum. To be credited as collaborator, not merely 'wife'.
