[DRAFT] British-born Indian architect called the 'Gandhi of architecture'. A Quaker influenced by Gandhi, he championed cost-effective, energy-efficient masonry using brick jali screens, local materials and minimal-waste construction in Kerala. Naturalised Indian citizen in 1988.
