Architect associated with the Wall House, Auroville (1997-2000); a one-to-one hand-built replica was exhibited at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012. RIBA Charles Jencks Award 2021 for work on low-energy, low-carbon materials and building cultures. B.Arch Sir J.J. College of Architecture 1989; PhD TU Berlin 2008. Practice foregrounds the craftspersons it employs.
