Loose international tendency from the mid-2010s in which younger practices (Sam Jacob Studio, Fala Atelier, Point Supreme, Bureau Spectacular, Young & Ayata, OFFICE KGDVS, Dogma) use Photoshop, Illustrator and digital collage to produce flat, frontal, square-format images that refuse photorealism in favour of allusion, irony and the recovery of 'the drawing' as a disciplinary act.
