A loosely affiliated cohort of twenty-first-century practitioners and theorists from the Global South (and women practitioners) whose major prize recognition since 2016 (Pritzker, RIBA Royal Gold Medal, Venice Biennale curatorships, Golden Lion, Aga Khan Award) measurably shifted the institutional centre of gravity of architectural thought away from the Euro-American twentieth-century canon.
