Under John Hejduk's deanship (1975–2000) the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at Cooper Union codified a pedagogy of fundamental exercises, diagram and craft, including a foundation programme that retransmitted the Texas/Rowe inheritance to a generation of architects (Ban, Diller, Libeskind, Mori).
